DESCRIPTION:Run to the Beach 5k & 1 Mile Easter Egg Scramble\n6th Annual Run to the Beach 5K and 1 Mile Easter Egg Scramble fundraising event for 2023. \nThis family friendly race is open to everyone.  The course traverses Portage Lakes State Park and includes road\, trail\, and beach running.  Additionally\, a 1-mile Easter Egg Scramble/Hunt will take place prior to the 5K for children under 10. \nCommunity support is vital to the success of the Portage Lakes Advisory Council and allows us to further the Council initiatives including: \n\nPublic education\, outreach\, and awareness programs\nWater quality testing and reporting\nPromoting active and passive recreation on the Portage Lakes\nCollaboration with ODNR\, Summit Metro Parks\, local non-profits\, and our local governments
